01Who we are

"GrabMyJunk," "we," "us," and "our" refer to GrabMyJunk LLC, a junk removal company operating in north metro Atlanta, Georgia. "Site" means grabmyjunk.org and any page or form on it. "Services" means the hauling, loading, teardown, disposal, donation, and recycling work we perform for you. "You" means the person or business using the Site or booking Services.

If you do not agree with these terms, please don't use the Site or book with us.

02Estimates, pricing, and payment

Every price we give before arriving is an estimate, based on the photos, description, or phone conversation you provide. It is not a binding quote. The final price is confirmed on site, before we load anything, once our crew can see the actual volume, weight, access, and disposal requirements.

• Nothing is due to book. You are not charged a deposit to hold a time slot.
• You may decline the on-site price and cancel at no cost before we begin loading.
• Payment is due when the job is complete, unless we've agreed in writing to invoiced terms.
• We accept card, tap-to-pay, PayPal, Zelle, and cash. Returned or failed payments may incur a fee.
• Estimates may change if the scope changes — more items, restricted access, or material we weren't told about.

03Scheduling and access

We schedule arrival windows rather than exact times, because job length varies. We'll contact you if we're running outside your window. You agree to provide safe, legal access to the items — including any gate codes, parking arrangements, elevator reservations, or HOA permissions needed.

If we arrive and cannot access the items, or no one is available to authorize the work when authorization is required, we may need to reschedule. Repeated missed appointments may result in a trip charge, which we'll tell you about in advance.

04What you're responsible for

• Ownership and authority. You confirm you own the items, or have the legal right to have them removed and disposed of.
• Checking before we haul. Once an item is loaded and disposed of, it cannot be recovered. Please remove valuables, documents, medication, keys, and sentimental items first. We're happy to set anything aside if you point it out, but we can't be responsible for items you asked us to take.
• Prohibited material. Do not include hazardous or illegal material — paint, solvents, motor oil, fuels, chemicals, asbestos, contaminated soil, propane tanks, ammunition, fireworks, or medical and biohazard waste. If we find it, we may leave it, and you may be responsible for costs we incur handling or reporting it.
• Accurate information. The information you give us on the Site and by phone or text should be true and yours to share.
• Lawful use of the Site. Don't use the Site to send unlawful, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, or infringing content, to interfere with the Site's operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to it.

05Property, damage, and our work

We're insured, and we take real care moving items through finished spaces. Even so, some risk is unavoidable in removal work. Please tell us in advance about tight stairwells, fragile flooring, low ceilings, narrow doorways, or anything already damaged.

If we damage your property while performing the Services, tell us before we leave the site, or within 48 hours, so we can inspect and make it right. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, for wear that occurs during a removal you directed us to perform in a particular way, or for damage to items being discarded.

06Where your items go

We donate and recycle whatever we reasonably can and take the rest to licensed disposal facilities. We can't guarantee that a specific item will be donated rather than discarded, and we can't provide item-level tracking. On request we'll tell you which partners we generally work with. Donation receipts, when available, are issued by the receiving organization, not by us.

07Intellectual property

The GrabMyJunk name, logo, mascot artwork, slogans, page designs, text, and images on this Site belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the Site, but please don't copy, reproduce, republish, or adapt our content or branding for your own use without written permission from us.

08Text messages and calls

When you give us your phone number, you agree we may call or text you about your estimate and your job — including photo requests, arrival updates, and follow-up. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or by telling the crew or office. Opting out of texts doesn't cancel a scheduled job; call us for that.

09Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or rely on services we don't control — mapping, review platforms, form handling, payment processing. We're not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Review their terms and policies before using them.

10Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any estimate, availability, or timeframe shown on it is guaranteed. Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, or professional advice.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, GrabMyJunk LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of items you asked us to remove. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from the Site or a given job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GrabMyJunk LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Site, inaccurate information you provided, prohibited material you included, or your lack of authority to have items removed.

13Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Forsyth County, Georgia, and you and we consent to that venue. Before filing anything, please contact us — nearly every issue we've had has been resolved with a phone call.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our business changes. Updates take effect when posted here, with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the Site or book Services after that means you accept the updated terms, so it's worth checking back occasionally.
