How it actually goes
Almost nobody's trash service will take a mattress, and a mattress will not fit in a car. We will pick up one mattress or ten, from any floor of the house, and get them out of your way.
Mattresses are also one of the worst things to landfill — the steel, foam and fiber are all recyclable. We route them to a recycling processor wherever one will take the load.
Bed bugs or heavy staining
Tell us before we come. We can still usually take it, but it gets wrapped and goes straight to disposal rather than recycling, and we need to protect the truck and the next customer.

How much to remove one mattress?
One mattress and box spring is our smallest common job. Call or text for the exact number — it is a flat quote before we arrive.
Do you recycle mattresses?
Where a processor will take them, yes. Steel, foam and fiber all get reused. Soiled or infested mattresses go to disposal instead.
Can you take a mattress from an upstairs bedroom?
Yes. We carry it down; you do not need to move it to the garage or the curb first.
Do you take sleeper sofas and futons?
Yes — both, including the metal frame inside a sleeper, which is the part most people cannot lift.
Can I leave it outside for you?
You can. Plenty of customers leave a mattress in the driveway or garage. Payment just needs to be arranged if you will not be home.
